2009 MHPCG Spring Retreat!

Our MHPCG member spring retreat on June 5th and 6th was a resounding success! We had an open-studio event focusing on embellishing journal covers using a variety of polymer clay techniques. Upon arriving on Friday night, we received artistic nametags, goody bags, and collectible pendants made by our president, Peg Harper. We had wonderful Friday evening demos by our own polymer clay artists- Barb Harper, Dee Chalkey and Tina Guegeler. On Saturday afternoon we had an inspiring demo by guest artist Tejae Floyde, noted mixed media artist and winner of several national awards. Although some participants didn't have time to finish their journals (so much else to do!), you can click here to see some of the creative results. Our thanks to those who worked so hard to plan fantastic meals, incredible door prizes, goody bags and all-around behind the scenes work!

Our 2010 Retreat will be here before you know it- so get ready!
